According to the latest ranking by Forbes.com, Orlando has been ranked as the 6th coolest city in the U.S.  The top five cities included New York City and Las Vegas (tied for Number 1).  Seattle, Chicago and Oakland, Calif.

The list was compiled by  a market research company asking adults which of the 40 largest metro statistical areas were the hippest.  Factors measured ranged from number of restaurants, bars and clubs to concert venues.  Orlando ranked 29th among the metros for number of restaurants, bars and clubs; 34th in number of museums, theaters, stadiums and arenas.
